Scootering is a fun and engaging activity that helps children develop balance, coordination, and confidence. But when is the right age for kids to start scootering? Let’s break it down!
Age Recommendations
Toddlers (Ages 1-3):
While very young children may not have the coordination needed for a scooter, we offer specially designed balance scooters for toddlers which has three wheels for extra stability, allowing little ones to push with their feet.
Check out the Joey My Bike which has 3 wheels and easily converts to a balance bike!
Pre-schoolers (Ages 3-5):
Many kids start using a scooter around the age of 3. At this stage, they typically have enough balance and coordination to handle a three-wheeled scooter and can advance to using a 2 wheels scooter.
Check out the Nipper My Bike which is ideal for 3-5 year olds with 2 wheels to advance their scootering skills. Plus the added benefit of switching to a balance bike at the press of a button!
